Our purpose is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for ALL of our clients! We DO NOT discriminate against any hair type. Our services are all about YOU!

What makes us unique?

Our sole purpose is our client’s comfortability and affordability. While we’re just starting out in this industry, we realize the financial priorities our clients have.

POLICICES:

• It is completely YOUR CHOICE if you’d like me to wash your hair, or anything like that, or if you’d like to do it yourself! (FOR PROTECTIVE STYLES ONLY)

• Since I’m also a very busy woman, please value my time and stick with the appointment slot you select!

• If you are on SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, I will provide my address as soon as your appointment is confirmed!

• If you are a PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENT, we can discuss as to whether you’d like your hair done in my home, or if you’d like me to travel to you. (Furthest I go is Easton area at this time)

• PLEASE DO NOT BRING A PLUS ONE UNLESS THEY HAVE BOOKED WITH ME!

• ESA PETS ARE WELCOME! At this day and age, we have A LOT going on, if you have an emotional support animal, please let me know and provide the proper documentation via DM! (@laidbyylani)

RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION:

• If you’re going to reschedule your appointment, please notify me AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE! This gives me time to mentally prepare myself for the week! There will be a 50% no-show/cancellation fee implemented if you do not cancel within the 48 hour period!

• If you are going to be late, notify me AT LEAST 2 HOURS IN ADVANCE!!!! Failure to do so will result in a $5 fee for every ten minutes you are late!

• If you are cancelling your appointment, PLEASE DM @LAIDBYYLANI ON INSTAGRAM IF IT IS NOT WORKING THROUGH OUR BOOKING SITE & PLEASE NOTIFY AT LEAST 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE!!! Once confirmed, don’t fret! There will be no offense to you cancelling your services. If you fail to notify and not DM the Instagram page, you will be considered a no-show.

THINGS TO BRING:

• If you are getting a protective style, I would prefer if you purchase the hair and provide it at your appointment. (IF YOU ARE HAVING FINANCIAL TROUBLE PLEASE NOTIFY ME ASAP!!! I WILL BE COURTEOUS ENOUGH TO PURCHASE THE HAIR FOR YOU AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!)

• If there are certain products you’d like me to use depending on your hair type, please notify me as soon as your appointment is confirmed!

COMFORTABILITY:

• If you would like a certain artist or genre played during your appointment, LET ME KNOW! This service is all about YOU. I personally have no problem with it! (Fun fact: I can’t work without music on!)

• I will provide snacks, water, and all that good stuff during your appointment since you’re going to be here a while! OUTSIDE FOOD IS WELCOME!
